Artist Statement

Hot glass work captures precious moments of time frozen in glass.  I am completely captivated by color, extreme forms and the undulating surfaces that are possible while coaxing hot glass into different shapes.  The distinctive forms, tantalizing textures and sophisticated colors of my beads are used to create beautiful compositions in jewelry.   These blossoming forms push my jewelry into the 3rd dimension of sculpture.
